This PR removes aliases that are no longer necessary and are resulting in Excluded by 'noindex' tag failures.  Removals were limited to URLs flagged as excluded.

There is also so minor markdown cleanup sprinkled in.  No change of content, just removing nonstandard line feeds and spaces.

There are a couple of 'go' pages that redirect to where the page is logically stored but to avoid publishing long URLs. These are implemented by redirects, as noted.

We have analytics enabled and gathered -- would this give us some indication of which links might be used in a month or two of gathering?
